In 1947 Olindo Antico, the founder, began his work in the craft shop of Vittuone in the province of Milan with the construction of small machines for the mixing processes of the chemical industry.
He has the passion for mechanics and thanks to his experience in previous role on this sector, he spend himself to the design of agitators by following personally the production.
In 1950 Olindo, with his son Cesare, founded Antico Olindo and Cesare Srl: the mechanical workshop specializes in the construction of all kinds of electro-agitators. In 1966, the technical and commercial center was established in Milan, while production moved to San Martino di Bareggio, with a new building of 7,500 mq.
The company embraces more modern and reliable machines and is able to meet the increasingly complex needs of a highly impacting and expanding industry thanks to their new technologies and fluid dynamics tests.
The experience gained over the years and frequent investments in specialized know-how, software and human resources enable Antico Olindo e Cesare to gain national and international reputation, then succeeding in expanding the range of equipment and reaching the more various application.
Today Antico Olindo e Cesare is among the first companies in the design and manufactures of mixing equipment and is present in the listed on the major National and International Engineering and Contractor companies.

Our agitators, blenders and mixers are under non-destructive testing and functional tests in accordance with standards and computing codes (UNI, EN, ISO, VSR, ASME) and meet the requirements of machinery directive and, where required, ATEX and PED Directives.
To ensure quality products, testers use sophisticated equipment and tools that are periodically calibrated by licensed entities. Our production and testing system has been audited and qualified both by end users and prestigious clients as well as by international inspection agencies.
